A beautiful story of togetherness, this is a play that shows what it is to love and lose during a time on 1960’s Hessle Road in Hull, where trawling is good but the stakes are high.

In this heartfelt tale, one family and their next-door neighbours share with us the optimism of faith and the wisdom of their experience. We learn with them, what it is to not dwell on the past or spend too much time dreaming of a future when all we really have is today.

'The Hub' allows young people to access a facility to develop their drama skills in a safe and supportive environment. More importantly it allows them to share their views about their community, build confidence and self awareness and know that their voice matters.

Creative X-Change have been involved in Casting and Assistant Directing for a new, emerging Hull Film Company 'Northern Films'.

The Company's ethos of 'Local Stories told by Local People' is one that Creative X supports wholeheartedly.

Their first film 'The Last Trip' is due to be released later this year.

As part of our attempt to engage and inspire local youths to learn about their communities, we have been working with local schools.

Our primary focus has been to develop their individual skills in the performing arts.
